An Analysis of the Prophecies in Hosea to Defend Multiple Raptures
In April of 2011 I wrote an article (see below) entitled Multi-Phased Rescue Mission which pointed to some interesting possibilities regarding a Second and Third Watch where Jesus comes for two additional groups of people and takes them to dine at the Wedding Supper.
Here in this video (above), YouTube channel “timfoster405” has done a great job analyzing the prophecies in the book of Hosea that he believes are pointing to a multiple rapture / rescue mission scenario.
You may find this most fascinating.
One word of caution, he hypothesizes that one of the rapture events is a children only rapture event. This is clearly not stated anywhere in the Bible and definitely not in the Jeremiah or in the Hosea text. Moreover, the Jer 50:44 scripture he uses to back it doesn’t say anything about a child rapture. Here is a comparison of just a few translations. I believe the TLB actually has the best translation of what will really happen and it lines up with “the fold shall be appalled at their fate”. This is a much more realistic understanding of the horrible times that the earth will be going through. And there is no need to “hypothesize” at all. Being “dragged away” simply doesn’t line up with the concept of being rescued from earth in a rapture.
Let’s compare
This is the ESV translation, which one has to make “assumptions” against to argue this is a child rapture. In fact when you look at other translations, it is pretty clear this is not what it’s referring too.

Jer 50:45-46
Therefore hear the plan that the Lord has made against Babylon, and the purposes that he has formed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the little ones of their flock shall be dragged away; surely their fold shall be appalled at their fate.

45 Listen to the plan of the Lord against Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans. For even little children shall be dragged away as slaves; oh, the horror; oh, the terror.
TLB
Jer 50:45
And His purposes that He has proposed against the land of the Chaldeans:
Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out;
Surely He will make their dwelling place desolate with them.

It is far more likely that the children are raptured at the same time as their parents during the FIRST WATCH rapture of Luke 12:37.
Luke 12:35-38
(Matt 24:42-51)
35 “Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning (refers to the Wise Virgins, ref. Matthew 25); 36 and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding (note Jesus is returning from the Wedding), that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. 37 Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching (likely referring to the “First Watch”). Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them (The Marriage Super of the Lamb). 38 And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

So here it is easily deduced there are a minimum of “three watches” (the first one is “implied”), in which Jesus comes and takes people who are ready and watching to the Marriage Supper.

There sure are a lot of mysteries hidden in the scripture. Isn’t it cool? Everyone seems to think they have the secret formula for Coca-Cola tucked away in their “little peanut sized brains”. I take a lot of verbal retribution for my ideas. Recently I even had a pastor call some of my “ideas” Satanic. I warned him he best watch his demeanor because he might lose some of his crowns.
Where is our humility? Can we not wonder about the Glory of God beyond the 12 oz. can of “theological” containment?
Sure we can, and sure WE SHALL!
More than Meets the Eye
Every time I see another person’s interpretation of scripture, my mind starts to “spin” and I look for other possibilities. I believe we should all do that. After all, have we not been ultimately misled by the force feeding of “milk” for years and years? You bet!
So it’s certainly reasonable to assume that most of what we’ve been taught about prophecy and other scripture is “less than trustworthy” … wouldn’t you say? I would. Again I would remind the reader that I was raised a “no rapture” person. And the arguments were pretty solid. I even have a book entitled “The Rapture Plot”. I didn’t finish it though. It was a difficult read and endlessly “beat to death” this single group of people suggesting there was this demonically inspired “plan” to inject the concept of a rapture into Biblical teaching. After a few chapters, that one needed to be “tossed”.
I’ve come to the conclusion that we all need to “loosen up” a bit on our current understanding of things. It is imperative we take the “empirical” information of “today” and reverse engineer it back into the scripture. I think you have a “thought deficiency” if you don’t do that. There are certain things that cannot be denied. And God is the Almighty Creator of “all things”.
Three Specific Times
You have evidence all throughout the Bible of times when groups of people were raised from the dead, certain times when others were “sucked up” into the sky (call it what you will). Rescue Mission Phase I
You have the Church of Philadelphia delivered from the “hour of trial” (Rev 3:6); the “Woman” of Revelation 12:6, (Rev. 12:6) who is “FED” … listen … FED for 1260 days. This is the duration of the Great Tribulation. This is the last 3.5 years of Daniels 70 weeks.
THIS IS THE BRIDE
The word “eat” or “fed” here is a “KEY WORD”.
Rev 3:10
Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

Contrast that to the report card of the Church of Thyatira who is purposefully CAST INTO the Great Tribulation. That is the complete opposite.
Rev 2:22-23
Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.

Rescue Mission Phase II
Then you have the elect that are gathered at the “Last Trumpet” (Matt 24:30, 1 Cor. 15:52). But “listen” … that is a “Trumpet“! There are also scriptures in 1 Thess. 4 which other rapture believers point to as THE “pre-trib” event. But these verses do not reflect an event that happens before the Great Tribulation.
1 Thess 4:16-18
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

Rescue Mission Phase III
Then you have the Two Witnesses. They are here for the WHOLE 1260 days. Arguably they could be the same group as the Tribulation-Saints or a “subset” of them. The “key” here is they are ON THE EARTH for 1260 days. (Rev 11:3). BUT THEN!!! They are “killed” and then “resurrected”. Then God CALLS THEM “UP”.

And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. 3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.

These are THREE (count them) … THREE TIMES the scriptures specifically refer to a DIFFERENT group of believers being called up to the Heavens.
And … there could be more.
If you are one of those who “buy off” on the “two witnesses” being some version of Moses, Enoch or Elijah coming back to earth and “breathing fire” out of their mouths from a street corner in Tel Aviv, I recommend you watch this You Tube video. These guys “nailed it” as far as I’m concerned. Although I always reserve the right to “eat crow” at any time … Amen!

Three Times, Three Watches
This morning I read an email from Christina. I love Christina. She humbly says things like “maybe I won’t make the first rescue mission” but I have never seen anyone as excited as she is. She rocks!! Glory to God.
Her email had a link to a comment on the 5 Doves web site. A person was pointing out Luke 12:35-40 and suggesting it implied there would be “three” events that happen the evening of THE rapture. Okay … maybe that is true. I have postulated in the past that perhaps the night of the “rescue mission”, there might be “multiple waves” of “beam me us Scotty” events. Amen? Fair enough.
BUT WHAT IF?
Does THREE not match up well with THREE?
The Master Returns from the Wedding
Luke 12:35-40
35 “Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; 36 and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately.
Excuse me? Why does this say “return from the wedding”? Does this scripture not imply that “the master” is “returning” from “the wedding”? Notice it also says to keep your “lamps burning” (ref. Matt. 25 the Wise and Foolish Virgins). Hmmm.
So here it appears that “The Master” is returning from His WEDDING!
But the Master has not gone to the Wedding Reception TO EAT … yet … has he?
Those Found Waiting on the Second and Third Watch
Here the same scripture continues. It talks about the master returning to find more believers who are “watching” for Him. And indeed it suggests that when He finds them, He will EAT with them.
37 Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them
There’s that “EAT” / “FED” word again. I believe it is “possible” that most of those who are eventually rescued will be at the Marriage Supper (see Rev 19) as the scripture does not specifically refer to the Bride ONLY at the Supper.
What Wedding Reception have you been to where ONLY the Bride and the Groom were present?
38 And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
What is THE SECOND or THIRD watch? Some estimate this all happens on the same “rapture night” as in the link below from the Doves web site (God Bless You Christina).

But are we sure about that? Does this happen all in “one night”?
39 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 40 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
This scripture above “seems” to imply a single hour. But DOES it really? Does the “hour of trial” the Church of Philadelphia get delivered from only last “ONE earthy hour”?
I don’t think so.
Summary in Jesus Name
Isn’t this cool stuff? Isn’t this encouraging?
I don’t know if I am right about these things but it sure does look quite interesting to consider … Amen? Aren’t we absolutely blessed to have this wonderful opportunity to “wake up” to new understandings of God’s Word in the “last days”? I believe this is very exciting.
