Letters of Encouragement
Help with the Challenges of Life
I received this wonderful letter from a friend in Jesus named Kim. I believe she is going through the same challenges we all are experiencing. As I was responding to her letter this morning in the “wee hours” I realized this sharing of thoughts and feeling might benefit others.
I pray, in the Name of Jesus, you are blessed by sharing in these words with us.
A Letter from Kim in South Africa
HI
First let me introduce myself. I am Kim and am from South Africa. I happened to come across your site by looking into the 2012 on google and saw TRIBULATION-NOW, and started reading some of your articles.
I must say it makes for some really interesting reading to say the least.
My background:- My Mom has always been a born again Christian, my sister and I have been brought up in these beliefs but have never really followed God the way we should. I had the opportunity of giving my life to Jesus about 5 years ago after seeing the Movie “The Passion of Christ”. I have never loved Jesus that way before it was amazing to know and love my Creator and know how much he loves me.
The sad thing is I have backsliden. Since seeing your articles I have asked God for my forgiveness and am trying hard to live my life according to the way of God. I am battling though.
Don’t get me wrong please I love my Lord, but the GUILT.
That’s my background.
However, the Church that I went to never taught on anything that you have written about. I have heard and seen via YOUTUBE all sorts about the chip, the rapture but nothing along the lines of what you write about.
I know your page says not to be afraid, however, what I read is scary. It has opened my eyes to a world that I never knew existed. So many people are living our lives day by day so oblivious to what is actually happening behind the scenes so to say. It’s like we have been living a lie. I can’t really explain the way I feel.
I have discussed this with my family and friends and they all seem to think I have gone crazy. What I have told them just seems too crazy to believe. (I do believe you though). A lot of people I have spoken to have said that its only happening in America.
I wonder everyday why Churches are not letting us know about this, so many people are being kept in the dark, and I see so many people that might suffer because of ignorance.
I have spoken to people about the chip and their answer is that technology is great and that we are moving forward, innovation. Mmmmmmm.
I have told a close friend of mine as well and her answer to me was that the bible contradicts itself. And that she doesn’t believe in revelations. What do you say to people like this………….?
My family and I pray every morning as a family now which we never used to do, we pray at our meals, I encourage my children to talk to Jesus all the time as a friend.
I don’t know why I have sent you this email, perhaps I just wanted to share my small concerns.
Your articles are very deep and sometimes I don’t understand everything, but I will continue reading them and be enlightened as to what to expect.
Thanks you for your site
-Kim
My Letter Back to Kim
Hi Kim. Well first let me say that I welcome your friendship in Jesus. I am happy to hear that you are blessed and your family is coming closer to their walk and relationship with the Lord. This is arguably the most important thing for all of us to do is to become closer and treat the Heavenly Father and Jesus as the close friends they are to us spiritually.
Isn’t it funny how we live our entire lives in an illusion of quantum science particles and dimensions but never see them around us? So we disregard their existence. Isn’t it also weird how we learn in school there are millions of living microbes (bugs) walking about on our skin and living in our bodies, but since we dont’ see them with our eyes we disregard them. BUT DARE any of us mention that there are “entities” (spiritual entities) living along side of our daily walk / sitting in the same room with us, watching our every move and influencing our thoughts. If you suggest this, you are a crazy person. THEN … Heaven Forbid, you should discover that Fallen Angels are REAL and not just some 4,000 year old story from some ancient Hebrew text. Wow. And people REALLY think you are a NUT JOB if you tell them that Fallen Angels not only existed back then, but exist today and they have an AGENDA! Now they want to put you into a mental institution and throw away the key.
Fascinating isn’t it.
What is it the people of the dark ages saw with their own eyes that made the burn witches at the stake? Have you ever wondered? I have. They must have SEEN things that scared them to death. In fact, not too far from your part of the world (perhaps just down the road …who knows) are some of the most ancient black magick practices in the world today. That stuff is FOR REAL. People can DIE from the curses these freaks can put on other people. They conjure up demons and cause them to inflict illness and pain into other people’s bodies.
I don’t think so. We are the sane ones. They are the unfortunate ones. What a challenging riddle.
Regarding your guilt, please take a look at this article:
The Accuser Cannot Accuse
https://tribulation-now.org/2010/08/21/the-accuser-cannot-accuse/
There is a reason we are supposed to ask for the forgiveness of our sins. It is because we are human and we make mistakes. It is a constant fight. I feel guilt too and I fight it by trying harder and harder to serve God with all my heart. I owe it to him. Its the least I can do. I worry that I am not going to be found “worthy to escape these things” (see Luke 21). Trust me when I say this. Nobody backslid as far as I did. How unfair it seems that some are saved at an early age in their life and have such a very long time to be “good” compared to those older people who have already lived their sinful ways and have overcome the sinful curiosity. It seem unfair that someone could be saved when they are 50 or 60 and live a great life from that point forward and have an advantage over someone who is much younger when they are saved. The Bible doesn’ really say much about Backsliding. It talks about the prodigal son and how you will be welcomed back to the Kingdom with open arms. But in the realm of divine inheritance and rewards (1 Cor. 3:13-15) it isn’t clear.
The way I suspect things will work is that when Jesus tests our “work” for what it is and hands out the rewards, it is likely we are all evaluated on our own merit (not compared to other people). And God looks into your heart as well (1 Sam 16:7). However feeling things and doing things are 2 different things. Is it “Jude” or James that says “Faith without Works is Dead?” And we are to be “doers of the word not just hearers” (James 1). So its important we understand that our actions are critical to the Heavenly Rewards System.
So not only is it a fight (or as Paul said a “race”) to make it into Heaven but its also a challenge to become Holy and sanctified unto Him such that our behavior CHANGES in a manner that we serve God through the resulting LOVE that comes from the Holy Spirit inside of us. This is brought about by STEADFAST prayer. We need to pray and praise God like crazy people. David “danced before the Lord with all his might” dressed in a Levitical priest robe and making himself look utterly crazy to everyone around him. THIS is how we need to show our love for God. God’s eyes look to and fro across the face of the earth to do good for those whose HEARTS are perfect unto him.
The most important thing for you to know is that you are NOT ALONE. We are all in this together. Take a look at Galatians 5:19. Remember these “Galatians” were born again “Spirit Filled” Christians on a level that many of us today do not comprehend. This was not many years after the first Pentecost. So it is extremely reasonable to believe that 100% of everyone in the “ecclessia” of Galatia was a tongue speaking, spirit filled, extreme lover of King Jesus. AND look at what they are being warned not to do!!
Gal 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
NKJV
So considering this scripture, it is reasonable to assume that this type of behavior was manifest even in this group of believers. This means that even THEY were dealing with daily battles of the flesh and struggling with being “Holy” and sanctified unto God. Becoming the Jesus “like” person you are expected to become is a battle between the forces of darkness and your position of INHERITANCE and REWARDS in Heaven. The point is that this is YOUR eternity. Make it count as best as you can.
There is no question we are at war within ourselves. God will give the Angels “charge over you” (Psalm 91:11) but you need to ASK and commune with God and TRY. And trying doesn’t mean an occasional prayer to the LORD. He expects you to be fully dedicated to him and his cause. Don’t behave like a typical teenager does with their parents and only call them when they “want something” or are “in trouble”. This is not a relationship with the Lord, it is instead an insult to him. It “grieves” the Holy Spirit in my opinion. You NEED the Holy Spirit to become your own “force field” and spiritual energy source and this requires CONSTANT refueling through praise.
Sometimes I forget the power of active praise. I don’t mean the type of praise that you SHOULD do quietly (under your breath) all day long. I am talking about OUT LOUD POWERFUL PRAISE with TEARS flowing. That emotional release is unbelievably powerful. Have you ever noticed when you “cry” a “good cry” you feel spiritually cleansed somehow? Do you realize this causes spiritual changes to occur within you? The power of our emotions when unleashed upon the Jesus through praise is unspeakably intense. It is the single most sought after power the “dark side” covets from the human life force. And we have it within us to use to our advantage. It is “Life Changing” but we use it ever so rarely.
Also note real quickly here in Eph 5 there is further instruction on how we are to behave. Don’t get too carried way with the jesting stuff here. You can joke around all you want. With the Bible text you must pay particular attention to the “adverbs” and “adjectives” to understand the meaning. That being said, it is pretty obvious our behavior is very important for us to achieve the level of “spiritual benefit” we seek.
Eph 5:1-7
5 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; 4 neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them.NKJV
Again this scripture, like Galatians 5:19 +, is here to give us guidance. It is here to “steer” us into understanding what “Holiness” really is. But don’t go too far with your pursuit of correct and good behavior because that can “turn people off” and ultimately lead to them not “wanting what you have”. That JESUS special ingredient.
The reason I shared so much of this “behavioral” information with you and emphasized the importance of praise is that without understanding this, you will have a MUCH HARDER struggle with the “forces of evil”. Guilt has a purpose. Guilt is when your spirit is warning you that you did bad. HOWEVER guilt without understanding the demonic role in this equation is extremely dangerous to your Heavenly Rewards System. You need to detect the feelings of guilt and steer them such that you earnestly seek forgiveness from God. Tell God that you are truly sorry for doing “this or that”. Be specific. Don’t just say “Dear Lord, please forgive me for my sins”. That’s not what you would say to your friends or family if you were asking for forgiveness. They would look at you like you were nuts and ask you “what is it you wanted forgiven for”? God is the same way. We need to stop treating our spiritual Father and Brother as some aloof unreachable energy out in the cosmos and treat them LIKE FAMILY!!
THEY ARE OUR FAMILY
This is how I ask for forgiveness.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Today I doubted you AGAIN. Lord, I am scared. I worry about not having a job at the end of December. I know you told me not to worry in your Word many times. I know it hurts you when my faith is not as strong as it should be. LORD GOD in the name of JESUS please “helpst thou mine unbelief”! I am sorry Father. I really am. I don’t mean to feel like this. I know you are there and I know you Love me. Sometimes I just need more help because I am weak. I promise I will try to think positive and give you the Glory and praise for the good things you will bless me with. Forgive me for my unbelief. Please forgive me for my lack of faith. I promise I will praise you IN ADVANCE for all your wonderful goodness. I love you Father. Praise your Holy Name. In Jesus Name I pray …
– AMEN
I hope this email was a little helpful. I am feeling led to keep you anonymous but publish this for others to be encouraged by. I hope we can be friends.
With Love in Jesus
John

PS: I am late for my “day job” so I don’t have time to “proof read” this article and it probably has a lot of grammar errors and such. Please forgive me.
ALSO … In the Name of Jesus, please PRAY that the LORD will provide a “job” for me after December 31st as my contract runs out then. NEVER FORGET …..
And thank you all so much for being friends in Jesus …
Hey John, one of the things I have noticed in my christian life is that sometimes I get tired and frustrated of our inability of stop sinning. And even though my minds tells me I have forgiveness in Jesus, my heart & conciousness press guilt upon my spirit. I have often cried in prayer because I know that by my own standing, I am not worthy to come before ALMIGHTY GOD. Everytime I am overpowered by my sin nature, I remember what Paul wrote in Romans 7:14-24 and I know it was written for me. Nevertheless, GLORY BE TO GOD for verse 25 "Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!" It is in Jesus that we are able to enter the presense of GOD and find forgiveness of our sins. My peace of mind and spirit is found in Col 1:27 "…Christ in you, the hope of glory."
Eventhough everything you discuss and talk about here in Trib-Now is fascinating, bizarre, scary and (I might add) will end up mostly being true; the most important message of every article is the message salvation and forgiveness we have in JESUS CHRIST you end them with.
And John, as far as your work goes, may God grant you the desire of your heart.
God Bless You JR … I don't know who you are but Hebrews 13:2 comes to mind.
Oh and funny you should put the job thing that way. The desire of my heart is to work for The King! Who knows what the future holds … for any of us. PRAISE JESUS
Don't, please John. I mean, I'll take God's blessing you give me, but I am the worst of sinners. I am such a sinner that I even stole Paul's title, LOL. My Glory is in JESUS CHRIST. Everything I am (which is nothing in this world) is by His grace. Besides, we will reign with Jesus even over angels. 😉
BTW, you ARE working for The King!!! Keep up the excellent work our King has given you. (You need not post this comment)
Don't forget you can always email me directly. Thanks again.
