Peace First, Then The Rest

Folks.  We just can’t think clearly if we dont’ have peace.  Once again I present to you one of the most profound verses in the entire Bible.

2 Tim 1:7

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

NKJV

What is it that makes us want to run to the hills and hide?  Is it a spirit of power, or a spirit of fear?

What is it that makes us want to buy guns?  Is it a spirit of power, or a spirit of fear?

What is it that makes us realize the “control grid” of the New World Order has us surrounded and makes us worry about our future?  Is it a spirit of power or a spirit of fear?

The ONLY TIME I am aware of in the entire Bible that God mentions we should “make a run for it” is when the Abomination of Desolation is seen in the “Holy Place”.  Now while I admit there is much discussion of what that actually means, it seems to me that when God suggests that we will “see” this happen, and He tells us that we should “get out of dodge” when this is something we actually “see”, it makes sense this is the ONLY time we should make a run for it.

And it sure seems to me that He must be referring to a certain group of people because if He was referring to the entire world, then how is it that the entire world is going to make a run for it?  Ask yourself that question?  How?  Is every single Christian that is watching what is going on going to run to the mountains?  Are you? 

When do you run?

What is the Holy Place?

Is the Holy Place the body, which is the Temple?  Or is the Holy Place actually Jerusalem or Zion?  And does the WHOLE WORLD make a run for it then?  Do we all run? 

Where do we run too?

Let’s Reverse the Thinking

As I continue to get many emails from various Christians across the world I see a consistent concern.  They are all worrying about things.  I dont’ see victory.  I see FEAR.  This flies in the face of the entire message of the Bible.  We have to get our priorities in order.  How are we going to keep our heads together if we let all these things cloud our judgment?

I am guilty as charged.

I am one of the worst offenders.

I have panicked more than once in my articles.

God I am sorry for not having the faith of Elisha.  I am sorry for not seeing your chariots of fire and Angels of POWER standing by my side. 

I messed up.

Summary of Peace

Until we understand that “The peace which passeth all understanding must be on our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus” we will not be able to think clearly enough to OVERCOME.

This doesn’t mean you get a “hall pass” to live to the ripe old age of 101.  And who wants to live that long anyway? 

If you fear death then you MISS THE POINT.

PS: And mean it when you say you are sorry.  Repent for real.  Make changes.  Go and SIN NO MORE.
